You never know what will turn up....
Roger took this sea trout whilst fishing the
Belvidere stretch. By the look of his hands,
I'd say he had it on bronze maggot !

Lovely mid size Barbel on Alan's own 'special' meat.

Another 'Death Rig' removed from a fish at the Monkmoor fishery, only this time the fish was not so lucky. In fact it was dead.
This type of setup is strictly banned,
the same can be said for anyone found using this type of setup.
All leads and feeders must be running, or mounted using a safety clip that allows the weight to come free of your mainline should a breakage occour.

Fantastic, late autumn Barbel for Alan Moorhouse, his only bite of the day and well worth waiting for. Fish of the Month.

Roger managed to sneak out a Barbel before the end of the 2009-2010 season. One of the very few Barbel caught it pulled the scales round to a hefty 8lb 10oz. Worthy of fish of the month if not the only fish of the month!
